    The gun I regret selling

We all have one or two like this dont we. Put time effort and money into a gun then for some reason sell it.

This was my TX200 Mk1 .177 in the mid to late 90s. I had it Venom tuned plus they put their straight bladed trigger on it. I added the CS800 stock. The Tasco TR 4-16 scope complemented it nicely.

It won me a few pots on the FT circuit.

Then in a mad moment I sold it to fund a Daystate 2000 rig, oh the madness :-(

I wonder if it is still around?

    Daystate MK3 Sport for me.

Although I hated it, in a moment of bad judgement and rage I sold my 80's hw80 for £20 about ten years ago.

Theoben Rapid 7/17, and a Theoben MFR .20

If I'd kept both they would have doubled in value over what I paid for them, especially as both had Simmons WTC scopes

Theoben sirocco classic carbine .22 although when fired it felt like being slapped in the face when new and after a service

Nearly everyone slates the triggers but this one broke like glass.

I blame Theoben as they tried to charge me twice for a service and I really wasn't sure I could trust them again, plus there was a very abrupt lady on the other end of the phone, who wouldn't accept I had been charged twice, yet mastercard stepped in and given the same figure appeared twice on my statement within 5 minutes of each other refunded me.

If only Theoben had offered their rifles in gas ram or spring, I'd have had it converted and kept it.

    A real Venom Mach 1?

Wow, that must hurt to think about. Not only for the obvious financial return but also because the gun is an iconic part of Airgun history.

The Mach 1 was the break barrel rifle with the barrel latch I believe (similar to Walther BB latch system).

I love the Mach2 but I'm a break barrel man & would love to have shot a Mach1. I had a full Lazaglide HW80 & that was sweet so heaven knows what the Mach1 was like to shoot.

My biggest regret, sale wise was my Theoben Fenman. I had to sell it (family finances) but it still bugs me to this day. Luckily I recently bought another & it's every bit as good as I remember.
