So, as I asked this morning post #9 (no one replied as yet) you’re saying there is no difference in pre war, post war Senior barrels?

Has to the bore size no, which is what was started on the thread. as to the cocking grip on the barrels there is.

Hi the question was, did they do the Senior bore barrels in. 5.5 and 5.6. and is there a difference between the S stamped barrels. no difference in the bore size. and the S stamp on them was for prewar ones.

Ok i now have a nice pair of barrels here (bit like buses, 2 turn up at once)
They are both lovely blue with what looks like original linkages. no signs they have been messed with …
The .22s has a shorter longlink than the one marked .22
Both have knurling the same length?

The frankenpistol which started me looking at this is fitted with a barrel where the knurling is perhaps 10mm longer.
    Interesting…..

I got them from fleabay at a huge and ridiculous cost ....for the pair.
what turned up was way better than the picture suggested.
Nice original blue and tight low use linkages that look to be original.

There arent any new ones being made so I guess at some point they will increase in value to near what I paid lool

Get a copy of Webley air pistols by Gordon Bruce. it tells you all you need to know about the changes to the barrels ect.

The .22 barrel with the shorter long link is for a Premier, not a Senior.
