Depends if they are 232 BAR or 300 BAR.

Found it, they are Hydrotech bottles rated to 300 bar, So I assume 300 bar is the max fill pressure? Wonder where in the north east I can get them filled, our local club only does 200.

Unless your filling it yourself then the shop will know.

Google dive shops near you for filling.

They are normally cheaper and better than gun shops.

On any size or make of cyl, the pressure is marked around the neck/shoulder of the bottle,
PS (or PW) is the safe working pressure, PT (or PH) is the test pressure,
test pressure 1.5x the working pressure.

They only fill dive bottles to 200 bar? Are you sure they aren't meaning gun cylinders to 200 bar? If not, unless my lack of sleep last night is causing me to miss something obvious, it means they are only filling the tank 2/3 full.

Not everyone has a compressor capable of 300 bar.

I get the impression that some places will top up a filled bottle after allowing it to cool (compression raises the temperature), some don't.
I have had a 232 show anywhere between 200 and 230 bar on my gauge the next day. Dive centers are likely to have big compressors and tanks (and good dry breathing air) but the fast fill causes plenty of heat and if the center is busy they won't always top up later. Slower is better but I worry about the moisture that remains in air from small compressors. Do portable compressors ever claim to provide breathing air?

i have a 500cc bottle and refilling valve i use to top up my air arms s200 when im out and i fill the bottle to 300bar , then i get 3 top ups to the s200 at 200bar .

its a 300 bar working pressure bottle i bought from china and states around its neck the working and test pressure ratings , i would think your bottles would be marked in same way .

I use Sunderland Air Guns for both bottle fills and cylinder testing, they are spot on as they are also a Dive shop. Just make sure the bottles are in test if you want them filled

Do you ever get 300 bar bottles with an A-frame connection or are they always 232 bar?
