    No, 300bar cylinders will have a 300bar DIN valve.

    Also, anyone with a 300bar underwater bottle & valve, using a MDE airgun adaptor, note the adaptor is only rated to 232bar, so DO NOT USE IT TO CHECK YOUR CYL PRESSURE AFTER A FILL

    It is still perfectly safe to fill a gun up to 232bar with it.

    Thank you both, it's just I saw a bottle for sale recently with an A-frame head that the seller claimed was 300bar.

    As far as I know, an A frame (also known as a Yoke) fitting is limited to 232 bar and needs an insert to be fitted to a DIN valve. A DIN valve can be either 232 or 300 bar but a 232 DIN valve has fewer threads (shallower?) than a 300 bar DIN valve and an insert won't seal in a 300. This is deliberate and is to stop people trying to fit a 232 onto a 300 bottle.
    Could be wrong but there is plenty about it on scuba forums.
