    Strange bottle valve

Does anyone know of an airgun that uses a buddy bottle with a Schrader valve ?

Just bought a 280cc bottle I knew didn't have the MFR valve, but it's turned up with this, along with 220bar inside

The above is correct. Theoben used schrader high pressure valves. New valves can be obtained from Best fittings.

Well I've never heard of that & certainly no one on the Rapid forums has mentioned it although I know the gas rams did use a Schrader valve.
The Theoben brass "pip" doesn't open it either.

Phil, it's a std Luxfer 280cc Aluminium bottle.

All the first Rapid bottles were 280cc with a schrader valve, when the 400cc came out they had the ball bearing valve.

the schrader valve will not work on the later type push pin disc in the regs as the pin enters the hole of the push pin and fails to open.
