    Yes l had one done, they gave me a set. l put them in a draw when l got back home. they told me l would be able to hear the birds sing now. l could hear the bloody birds sing before l had them.

    Browning airstar

    Hi what an interesting rifle i had never seen or heard of these before so googled it,and was very surprised to see one for sale on guntrader for £ 345. So yours must be worth a good few quid even with it fault. Good luck

    Lol i had the misfortune to hear one in a local gunshop when they came out too, they would scare all game for a half mile radius away when going for a second shot......

    In a hunting situation you could only use them against deaf rabbits who smoked --- if you missed with the first shot they had time for a last cigarette before the second one hit them.

    I think you are all being a bit unkind. it is a very good quality made airgun. and so unique.

    They were very well made guns, the breech for example is absolutely at the height of airgun engineering.

    If pcps hadn't come along, I think they'd have had a run.

    IMO the best spring gun killed by the arrival of the pcp was the TX200 sr I had a fully customized laminate stock one and couldnt even give it away at one time although nostalgia has made some things popular again recently
