Valuation Webley Premier

I have a Webley Premier pistol, original box and some if not all paperwork. Serial 401

.22 which I would describe as good condition for age.

When cocking, something is not engaging so cannot cock [may be me].

Gathering dust so will sell.

Will try work out how to post photos.

Several things can stop your Premier from cocking, one being wear to the fulcrum over which the long link moves in order to cock the pistol, another being stretching of the long link, and another being a worn sear.
What is the series letter stamped in the frame behind the trigger? This could make quite a difference to the value if it's a very early variant.
