Can anyone identify the grip wood?

Love this wood, not sure what it is? Looks kind of like the European walnut on my Air Arms Camargue?

looks very similar to some european walnut i have on a pre-war diana.

All of the CO2 pistols from Tau, Drulov etc. that I've either owned or handled have all had the same European Walnut. Had some fun with them too, only one I have left now is a Tau7 in .22 rather than the usual .177.

They refer to it as Nutwood we know it as Walnut
