The Webley Eclipse is a good looker, but the trigger wasn't good enough, though at least an underlever rather than the Viscount/Tracker side lever.
BSA Silver/Goldstars?? were better but looks are so "average".
Original 50 and BSF 54 just so old school.

I have a superbly accurate Park 91. It's just fugly.

HW77 can shoot superbly. Customised in so many ways, so has to be a contender.

The Theobens were very lovely, especially the '88.

One day I will get an AA Prosport, if only for their looks. TX's aren't bad either.
Beauty is in they eye of the beholder. Love the handling & shooting my Mk 3s, but would never call them great looking. Whereas I like the look - if little else - of my underlever GoldStar. Just had my Mk 2 & later A/sporters out, much prefer the later one's styling.

I really hope we can see the vm3 one day! Would be lovely for a shop or range to be able to display it for people to have a look at

The 430 and 430 stutzen about five years later

The only underlever to survive is the 460 and still going strong.

Pics of 430 stutzen if anyone has not seen one, also a 46 breech, they were a fixed barrel 34

I’d forgotten the order. Always rather liked the idea of a 46 or 430.

Not one Whiscombe mentioned. I'm kind of surprised.

Which air rifle would you paid for to be reproduced ? ( almost a thread in it's self )

The Rolls Royce of British air guns

Catch 22 you'd need to own one to reproduce one and @ £40 an hour for highly skilled precision engineering

Does £5000 for a Whiscombe JW air rifle seem that unreasonable

    :
In terms of looks and "sporting" handling, I'd have to say one of the very early Airsporters or late carbine versions. But then I'd be thinking a sliding comp cylinder might be better and then a trigger to match the Rekord and then I'd think, "that's a Prosport". And then I'd have to remind myself that I'm not the biggest fan of the feel of cocking these underlevers with the recessed levers..

Not quite reproduced but I would like to see Weihrauch do a Stutzen version of the 77K, with decent checkering of course.
The more I think I know, the more I realise the less I know.

I have seriously considered that, but I'm to lazy to dismantle it for just that reason, also I sometimes carry it loaded.
A taploader can be quickly be made safe by just opening the tap, but the 77 needs to have the slide opened so the safety will remain for now.

But there's a resetable safety to be had, and without the spring it might work as wished
