Yuk Yuk! (3 letters was too short so had to do it twice plus a lengthy explanation of why I had to say it twice)

I do like the diamond at the front of the pistol grip but the mish mash of stiples doesn't work for me. I cannot work out whether the internal raised lines work or not.
I must say after trying Craig's hand cut checkering for texture and grip when holding a stock. No factory checkering compares.
The more I think I know, the more I realise the less I know.

It's like Weetabix with Shredded Wheat on top, just not as neat.

It's better than the fish scale chequering found on some air arms stocks

I'm not sure I agree. Sure, the fish scale and scroll work on various AA rifles is absolutely awful - but I think, deep breath, lettering, a logo, triple borders, stippling and chequering mixed, on this latest HW offering maybe the biggest horror show to appear on a production stock yet.

    Yep, what WERE they thinking?

Some simple, classic chequering or stippling would have been easier, far less controversial and much more appealing.

It's a bit "busy" but all that matters is whether it improves grip, I'll take function over form any day.

I don't think it's too bad other than the pointy bits at the extremes.

Imagery checks out with Weihrauch webpage, so looks like that's the current offering.

I’m pleased I already have all the Weihrauch air rifles I will ever need, I just couldn’t bring myself to buy that

I think that stock looks quite beautiful. I like it.

What bothers me is how much extra I'd be paying for that gun if I bought one.

Anybody got a lump hammer with a beuatifully stippled handle? Gun and hammer are, after all, tools.

Yes, always thought that about the airarms fishscales and swirly lines too. Cheapens the look of the whole gun. Just need some nice standard checkering to convey simple understated quality.

    It won’t.
Stippling is more tactile than chequering - and the stippling on ‘that’ is far too shallow, in an insufficient amount and is also in the incorrect contact areas. The chequering suffers from the same problems.
The best way of improving grip, is to mix sharp sand with resin and paint that onto the contact areas of the stock. But I can’t see many doing that, especially if they don’t own an already painted stock.
    So the point still stands.

Silicon carbide grit is a much better alternative to sand Craig.

Black grippy panels look good on a stock imo.
