kral npo2 air leak

hi all, my mates kral npo2 has dumped all its air, when trying to put air in again it sounds like its feeding back into the dive bottle!!!, also coming out of the loading port when cocking it!!. any idea?

Sounds like the firing valve has stuck open, could be a blown seal or could be something damaged.

It cannot feed air back in to the dive bottle, because it will only have equal to, or less pressure, than the bottle has just put in to it

The NP-02 is a bugger to fill from empty.
Because the tube from the cylinder to the bottle is tiny, it takes a long time for enough pressure to build up and shut the valve.
You have to sit there with Air hissing out all over the place for 30 seconds before the valve shuts.
I doubt this could be achieved with a pump.
