A post has just gone up to announce Round 1 of the Sussex Interclub HFT (SIHFT) Series here

Any pre-event question should be posted here, where we will do our best to answer then asap.

Just a few notes about Sundays round at the Oaks -

First please drive very slowly through the farm - some of the potholes have their own postcode...

Second - as the field is soon to be mown for hay please keep to nominated paths as much as possible to limit trampling

Third - We are holding a pistol HFT comp on Saturday and plan to leave the 20 pistol targets out in the wood. So if you fancy a go at pistol HFT once the SIHFT comp is complete, either bring your pistol or there will be a couple to borrow

Fourth - Atta will once again be on site with his burger van so breakfast and lunch will be available.

Important additional note from the host club

" Course is all set and we are looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday.
Gates will be open at 8am please follow the Marshalls instructions and park with consideration.
If the gate to the car park is closed then it is full. Please follow the arrow signs along the road to our over flow car park.

Evening all.

While today's weather in Sussex was perhaps not quite as awful as forecast, the Mile Oak ground has suffered some "treeage" and the ground remained super wet from the previous 2 days' deluges.

I was over there myself today, at the time we would have been shooting and it would NOT have been 'fun'.

NEW DATE - SUNDAY 5th NOVEMBER.

All details otherwise as in the post for today's rescheduled event. So booking in from 08:30 and kick off at 10:00 after the mandatory safety briefing.

Fingers all crossed that we do not have to sort out a Plan C 🙂
