Here at BARC Central, we’re always keen and interested to get feedback, and following on from recent conversations with several shooters, we’ve got some “breaking news“ regarding the forthcoming British Air Rifle Championships (B.A.R.C.) Round 1 that Meon Valley Airgun Club is hosting on Sunday 14 May……

The format of the competition has been changed so as to allow those shooters who do not wish to take part in both the Field Target and HFT elements of the day to just shoot the HFT course in the morning, and vice-versa for those FT shooters not wishing to try their hand at the HFT course.

For these shooters, we’ve slashed the entry fee in half, so just £10 buys you what promises to be an absolutely first-rate morning’s sport on a superbly set-out and hugely enjoyable HFT course, or a great afternoon on the cunningly laid-out, 40 shot Field Target course (set by the inimitable Mr Steve Lucas)

Signing-in is from 8.30am, with the competition starting at 10.00am on the HFT course, preceeded naturally by the mandatory safety brief that all those taking part must attend. With the FT course being shot in the afternoon, we'll be signing-in for the PM session from around 12 Noon.
