Is there any Bonehill Britannia reading to be had?

As I normally do, I try to gather and read whatever I can on any new rifle.

Are there any Bonehill Britannia publications out there? I have Mr Hillers book and a few other generics.

Can anyone point them out or even share PDFs of reviews, drawings, details?

    I'd be much obliged.
    Thank you!

Is it A.G.Banks "Book of The Rifle", where mention is made of the author destroying his or someone elses walking cane with one at some incredible range
"helplessly they stare at his tracks......."

If you haven’t seen my Britannia vid @11:34s there’s reference to a contemporary 1905 Britannia review, reprinted in the May 1976 issue of Guns Review magazine, and also @30.33sec an article by Ian Alcock in the Oct/Nov/Dec 1984 issue of New Zealand Airgun magazine.

    Both very interesting

And also the Book of the Rifle/The Rifleman magazine re-enactment At the end.

Pics of your Britannia when you get a chance please.

A search on this forum will turn up some extended conversations. I had a look a few days back to see about variations in markings and other small details on these guns.

    All helpful, thanks folks.

@ptdunk, I watched your video before even buying, you were inspirational in finally posting the "wanted" advert.

Superb video, and some seriously impressive shooting, thanks!!

Matt, would it be possible to beg a PDF or photos of the complete articles?

After watching your video, freeze framing and taking a screenshot, I searched all over for copies. This was a while back but I doubt availability has changed.

But, nothing was found, hence the thread here asking.

Photos will follow, once I have the rifle here, should be Wednesday...

As always, John Atkins can be of help, as he wrote a detailed, beautifully illustrated two -part review in Airgunner magazine (Part 1, AG Jan 2004; Part 2, Feb 2004). He has also written sporadically about the rifle in several other of his AG columns.

If of interest I can send you a scan of the two articles.

    Cheers,
    John

Rifle arrived, lovely with patina. One issue is the rearsight is roken where it engages with the "drum" adjuster at the front.

Does anyone have a pic of the part that engages with theslot in that drum at the front please? I want to repair/replace as the sight is not teally useable as is.

    Thanks!
