    A suitable spring?

I got sent a Bsa Cadet the other day and it is lovely to plink with. The wire diameter only seems to be around 2.7mm rather than 3.
I've had a look through the springs thread on here but cannot seem to find one to match.
I have used cut down Meteor spring in the past but would love to know of a 2.7mm ish one that will fit the piston and also the guide.

Normal cadets are supposed to be 19.7 mm OD
    13.5 ID
    3mm wire thickness
    185mm long
    28 coils

    Thanks

Think a Titan 12 is 2.75 wire but 290 long with 37 coils. Only 26 lb/inch rate tho'. What rate is yours at 195?

I recently bought a Chambers replacement spring for my Cadet. They don't mention that it's modern production (i.e. not an original BSA spring) but it is.

Anyway, it's not quite what you're looking for but not far off. The wire is Ø2.80mm. Spring O/D is 19.20 and I/D 13.60. Length 210mm.

The end coils were horrendously out of square so I trimmed off, flattened & redressed them, which I'd have probably done anyway to soften it a bit.

    Cheers

Take a look at the, Useful airgun / shooting tips section

Main spring data thread page 5

It shows all the Titan spring sizes
