I don’t want to face another four seasons with this pain and more importantly… decreased quality of everyday life, so….. I’ve decided to go private. I’ve got a meeting with the Doc (same specialist I saw on NHS last Thursday) next Monday 5th June at Cheltenham with an estimated
August date for the operation. That’s only nine or ten weeks away
I was told the wait for my knee would be late January/early February. March at very latest. Ended up as Mid August

Hey Pauly. Although it's going to be expensive, that's great news, my friend. And, this way, you'll be back to your best in no time at all. Hopefully you'll be able to manage the pain well enough to do this July Bash and also attend the September one as a revitalised Little Pauly if those timings / recuperation slot into place.

That sounds really good mate. definitely no point putting up with it longer than you need to and a waiting list always seems to escalate to much longer waiting times. If you get it done this summer, you'll be well sorted for next summer!!!!

Absolutely Mikey.. I know a good few people who have had the procedure done and they have all been very happy with the result. Although I can't remember the exact recovery timings, they also did seem to recover very quickly too.
