Wish we could get a Saturday without the wind and rain
70 plus yard practice has been blown away most weeks
Need to get some practice in because I bet conditions have been perfect for Craig Gav and Gary

I've been struggling at the 50m range at our club lately. I only hit the bucket a hand full of times during the whole weekend at the last Bash.

All I've managed to do since the last Bash is fit the new-to-me 'scope (gloss black, Japanese made BSA branded 4x40) atop the "dog's dinner" Supersport, shimmed the front mount as it was running out of vertical adjustment and shooting very high and got close to zero at approx nine yards. A few more minutes refining that secondary zero required and then need to check at circa 25 yards, but that will probably have to wait until this next Bash.

Yep, those conditions have certainly been challenging for some time now. Sure to settle soon and I predict a dry, sunny and still September Bash.

It would also be so nice if you can grab John Baz too. Haven't seen him for a while. If Melv comes along too, that'd be an extra bonus and a great showing for the (ex in your case) South Yorkshite contingent.

One thing I'm sure of, I really don't want to go back to driving wagons. It is however an option if I can't get anything else, but definitely a last resort.

Excellent stuff, my friend. Hope all goes well for you.

P.S.....Now that Neil has started the Autumn Bash thread for us, maybe better to reply there and let this one peter out?

    Best of luck, matey.
