Hmmm... does twist rate matter that much on an airgun?
I know it's important on a full bore, heavier bullets need a faster rate but on an airgun ??

Twist rate has nothing to do with bullet mass. Twist rate is dependent mainly on bullet length, shape and internal mass distribution.

As above, if slugs are to be used then twist rate is important, but it also has an effect on pellet group sizes.

I suspect thats why the likes of FX have liners for pellets and different ones for slugs

To one shot one kill, you need to seek the S. Kill only comes from Skill

Op could be using the new element optics ballistic app, this asks for the twist rate and twist direction of the barrel.

As far as I’m aware the lw barrels for the galahad are the same as the s4**/5** models. You could try emailing AA and ask, they are usually quite helpful.

Air arms use LW barrels which tend to have a 17.5 inch pitch. The pellet won't be over stabilised at any range that you can usefully use an air rifle. I have a 15 inch pitch barrel on a rifle and that's very accurate even at 65 yards. All 11.5 ft lb with diabolos.

Modern LW barrels tend to produce excellent accuracy, really excellent, that's the important thing.
    Best Regards

    I've got some slug guns.

No, but if you have the gun just use a rod pull through to check it yourself.

It might matter if the OP wants to shoot slugs.
