    starter air guns

Hi, my grandchildren are keen to start shooting and I have been thinking that an HW30 would be a good gun (although expensive) to get them going. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Hi. You don't mention the age or build of your grandchildren, but yes it is a great gun. Good balance, good trigger, enough power for a garden plink/paper (circa 7 ft/lbs) and fairly light. Open sights or the scope package makes for a fun gun. As it's lower power, I'd go for .177. No doubt other suggestions will follow, but I'd give it the thumbs-up.

Hw25, Hatsan 35, Remington express compact, Cometa 220 compact or Co2 with a Cp2 are a few worth a look and hello and wecome .

    Pcp

Have you thought about a pcp for them? There is a Kral / webley np03. I’m just thinking that has an adjustable butt stock.
