Webley junior tingrip box

I bought a really nice tingrip but was in a repo box,spotted this on so had to buy it

Nice find to get that box in what appears to be excellent condition.
The earlier boxes of similar design had the Birmingham & London address.

And yes box is fairly tidy considering the age

It was only the wood grip Junior and early tin grip Junior that would have used the London & Birmingham address box, so that repro box is wrong for your pistol.

Yep that's the box it came in when I bought it,hence getting the right box now,will still keep the repo tho as hoping to find a wood grip one day to put in it

Early tin grip with the adjustable rear sight would be easier to find?

Quite interesting to do a comparison on the rep vs original box,the rep box is quite a bit bigger

Nice boxed, wood grip Webley Junior with adjustable rear sight coming up at Holts next auction, but despite the box just carrying the Birmingham address, I would be very surprised if it doesn’t exceed the high end of the estimation by quite a bit.
