Saddened also. David was a gent of the very highest order and is sadly missed. Very special memories of some of the knowledge and stories he shared with us.

What a wonderfull gent he was. Knew him for many years, after meeting him and his lovely wife for a boiler service. It was one of those places you really looked forward to going. He fettled my Tx200 for me, and when I got a Hw80, I asked him to do it as well. Told me to do it myself, as its the only way you will learn. His sent through numerous messages, Emails etc to let me get an overview and guided me through the process. With his help, it transformed into a superb rifle. Worked on it at night, sent off an Email, woke up the next morning to a reply. Chrono readings were submitted and I was guided appropriately. Unfortunately, he never got to see the finished work, and fire it. He knew I was delighted with the end result. Would have loved to let him see the fruits of his labours though.

David would have been celebrating his birthday today. So sadly missed and taken far too early.
