    Bsa Scorpion barrel latch question

I had a problem with a Scorpion latch last week and the latch has a groove for the locating pin, all the way round the latch. If you look on Nibbs website, the diagram seems to show this type of latch. However the one he shows a picture of has a more normal flat on the top. https://www.airgunspares.com/catalog...category/1150/

I'm wondering which came first------How long were they fitted for and why it was changed? Does anybody know?
Cooler than Mace Windu with a FRO, walking into Members Only and saying "Bitches, be cool"

no idea of dates but on a parts diagram I have for pa /PBS Scorpions the picture of item 21 barrel latch part no. 16-3097 appears to have a groove all around it. Oh & they are only 34p each.
