Shooting Supplies custom rifles of the late 90s.

Looking at some old AGW's it appears the above company did some rather tasty custom specials back in the day.
SS80, SS95, Vulcan, Omega, 34. Tunes, reblue, slim silencers, shrouds etc. You don't see many come up for sale I must say but they looked the business back in the day. Any members owned one or still do? Mach 1.5

I still have an Airgun World buyers guide '99 and it as the custom HW95 they did in a very tasty walnut stock with barrel shroud, according to the guide it was £370 at the time.

I remember SFS had the Banshee out at the same time, I had the privilege to own the SFS Stingray custom T that was shown in the 2000 buyers guide index (exactly the same stock grain that was on mine), it shot beautifully but it was just a standard model that they had put a screw on "Webley" plate where the rear sight had been, it would have even better if it had the rounded of breech block, the cylinder had a funny grey finish to it, where the barrel was blued.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

I did have the review in one of my magazines, and I seem to remember Gary's name being mentioned but back then I didn't really know his name or his work.

The company was Sporting Supplies, I used to work there sometimes when I was young and carefree.
The actions were all done by Shaun of ISP - who also worked for Sporting Supplies at the time, the woodwork was by Gary Cane.

    SS Vulcan

I'm the lucky owner of a SS Vulcan which has some engraving done by Don Blocksidge. Shoots lovely and the balance is great. As you say they look the business.
I'd upload pics if a 3rd party site didn't need to be used.
Always on the look out for Brum / Venom - Webley Longbow / Tommie rifles and parts.

    Hi Brano,
If you want to send the pics to me by email I’d be more than happy to put them on my picture site and upload them to this thread if you want
You won’t get any spam or anything like that, it’s just a picture site my son set up for me and it’s on a raspberry pi here.

A few other people have done it and it hasn’t been any problem.

    Regards,
    Norm

That is a cool thing, especially as it’s (just) a Vulcan and not an HW/FWB…
