It is possible to put a Air Arms rear piston bearing on the rear skirt if a skilled machinist cuts a groove. Just saying, if you want that 'glided' feel. Tinbum kit is excellent as well.

I've got my finger hovering over the buy button for another HW30 - depending on Lyn's kits.
Put on heading 270, assume attack formation

I never really thought I'd be saying this, let alone be interested in this little rifle, but I have to say after shooting Karen's, I'm glad I got it for her, it will indeed be interesting to see how the littlelen performs, unfortunately I have to try and make Karen's easier to cock for her, so probably no performance (power wise) increase, I know the 30 isn't built for power but it would be interesting to see what they could do if tuned to an inch of its life.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

    Hw30

Well thanks to you guys on here I've never took any notice of the HW30 but having scratched the itch I can't wait for the little HW to turn up at my door when I shall do a full report. I blame the bbs members for mentioning the HW99 and now I own 6 and it's becoming my go to rifle at the moment. So many thanks for the honest comments on these rifles guys. Mach 1.5

I've been a huge fan of the little 30 for many years now. Got my first one back in 2010. It was probably the very many complimentary comments from the US that piqued my interest. After all, any rifle that could please shooters in that market who have access to unrestricted power must be good.

And they are; they're brilliant. Just so forgiving and accurate. And all the power you need unless extending ranges beyond 35 yards. But still capable of upsetting a long range bucket at a Boinger Bash.

    A true classic.
