Absolutely great little CO2 rifles -- usually found nickel plated rather than blacked.

It's a shame they didn't make the forend longer, I think it would have been better looking, but it's a nice lightweight rifle.

I have a couple of nickel plated ones (.22 and .177) and a blacked Sheridan F9 which is identical to the 392/397 gassers apart from the .20 calibre.

A nice trio not commonly seen in the UK!

The nickel finishes appear well done and hard wearing.

Agreed, the nickel finishes are very hard wearing as well as being attractive.

I don't want to hijack the thread but if by chance anyone reading this knows the whereabouts of 392G VO97780G could they let me know please.

The reason I ask, is because I have VO97778G & VO97779G and if possible would dearly like to own the trio.

Apparently, these CO2 rifles were all part of a batch imported by J S Ramsbottom in the late 1990's.

I'll check my serial number, ill let you know if it's one. I was told mine was imported from the US for a collector.
