No one comfirmed running up from Herts yet, still a couple of months to go so theres still hope.

Rested my eyes on Mrs orders but didn't really get to sleep so still not great, will go back to bed in a bit and try again, targets arrived though so something to look forward to doing when I get up.

I've just had a look and if you can't get a lift, an open return train ticket can be had for £54.80.

Well thanks to restlessness and overheat I started on the trap and got the basic frame roughed out but not before several heavy items landing on my feet and the wood splitting (was old scrap, you'll see a pattern emerging in my target stuff) so it's sat waiting for glue to fully set before I continue, need some sort of fastener to add to the clamps that'll stand up to reuse so I'll have a mooch for something in the bargin shops along with maybe some other target ideas.

Yes, I’m bringing Paco the Vanne. The ports I use are ok, but they are the quieter ones. I always declare I’m carrying guns, so I do have a little more thorough inspection than most.

I had fallen out of love with shooting as my vision was going in my only eye, thankfully it turns out it was only a cataract which was removed 3 weeks ago.
Thanks to Nick (tinbum) for prompting me [and getting me off my arse], I'll get to put faces to names and Im looking forwards to that.

Aye a complete success thanks, I can't believe both the difference in my vision with everything now being so clear and sharp and subsequently how bad it actually was..
Get the follow up appointment and then new specs and I can drive again
Granted my shooting will still look like I have my good eye shut
