    Accidental collection

    Hello all I'm new here.
I have recently for one reason or another rounded up my air rifles from various homes Mum's loft etc. No idea of interest or value. Some have considerable sentimental value others not so. However I have a small collection I would be interested to know if they are worth keeping.
    2 x model 23 Original .177 complete need a service/refurb
    2x model 35s Original .22 one immaculate one a restore/refurb project
    1x HW77 Weihrauch Venom .177 immaculate
1x model 50 Original no stock
1x model 2 Original pistol ( gat gun style) immaculate

Any recommendations for shops Smiths etc Rickmansworth/ West London way

    Best

I would not be parting with the HW77 or the Original 35 in immaculate condition.
Move the others on, to fund a service for the remaining two.

If budget allows I'd be keeping them all. Service them / get them serviced, and a stock on the 50.

    Keep them
Start restoring the roughest one as a learning exercise
Do not work on the Venom or let anyone talk you into selling it until you know what it's worth
I regularly see these for sale at £1000+ so it could be a valuable rifle

    P.S.....And welcome to the forum.

Agree with Pete up above. Also, if you get using some of these more basic, older guns, you'll hopefully re-discover some of the simple joys of short range fun plinking, where many of us started. You don't need expensive kit and all the latest techno-wizardry to enjoy this wonderful hobby.

I think this is the best advice. If you carry on shooting and sell the Venom you will regret it

Do a search on here using the word Venom and spend hours learning a lot.
Depending on how "Venom" it is will dictate what it is worth ranging from.....
Had a venom kit put in it at home....not much more than a standard rifle....
To had the full works done in house including a lovely stock.........worth loads more than a standard rifle. Possibly 4-5 times or more 😁
