Straight grip senior

Been after one of these quite a while,finally got hold of one today,quite interesting as stamped with supplying dealers name

HI Stu, I have had a few pre war Webleys with Pape on the back strap. Years ago I went to see a Pope air rifle, it turned out to be a BSA light Pattern with Pape stamped on it! Straight grip Senior is one of my all time favorite pistols. You are building up a very good collection!

nice pistol,as a matter of interest to me,what is the length of the grip on the straight grip senior?I'm used to shooting the wood grip mk 1s but the grip is a finger short to be ideal,my little finger has to go below the bottom of the grip.from the bottom of the compression tube to the bottom of the handle is 3" on the mk 1.

I must say after shooting it today for the first as this is my first straight grip senior I found the trigger exceptional,very light and crisp compared to any of my slant grip seniors

Not sure if all straight grips are the same or it's just a well worn one that works better

Senior triggers can vary in my experience, but mine s as light and crisp as you could wish for. Average result at 10 metres using single handed precision hold.

Yes my other 9 slant grip in pre and post war all have different triggers,the ones that are almost unused are very stiff but even the more used ones don't come close to the straight grip trigger

Not really a pistol fan, but I prefer the straight grip Webleys
