Hope the beer went down nicely.
On the beer front there's good news and bad news.

The bad news is it's way too sweet for either me or the missus.

The good news is there's a spare bottle I'll be giving away at the bash.

Sorry to hear that re the tasting. It's always awkward to recommend different drinks as our tastes vary so much. I find it can depend so much on how you're feeling on the day / how thirsty you are and even on what you're eating (if you are eating). For me, I find the Staropramen to be a "strong tasting" beer and beers like Estrella Damm and Moretti to seem "sweet" tasting.

Well done, that man. Sounds like you had an excellent session there, Pete.

Yesterday confirmed the A Team for the August Bash to be
    TX200 HC
    HW 80
    Webley Longbow
With the Sirocco or RAW in reserve
Luckily Craig hasn't got a single gun nailed together yet

If Craig is launching them, yes they will. With great accuracy, too. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

And careful, Pete. We all know he can cobble something together at the very last minute and it'll be a Bucket Destroyer!

The Staropramen is one of those beers I keep seeing and think about trying, there are quite a few on the list lol. Got a box of Madri this weekend, they seem OK, but not as good as it is on draft.

    Might try some IPAs next

Took my Mk 1 .177 HW 97 & .22 HW 95 to the range on Sunday, they both seem to have settled down after rebuilds. The 95 had to have a preload washer out after the last bash, it's now at 10.6. I can't believe how accurate they are now.

Only one month and six days to the bash !
