The seal seems fine, when I put it on the piston the rear of the seal was a smaller dia than the piston, only the lip was bigger.

Might want a tad off, but due to the rain & DIY commitments it's not been out for a good session to get tested / bedded in.

Glad you liked the Budvar. The Pilsner Urquell is a good one, too. And, with you liking the Budvar, it might be worth giving the Staropramen another try.
Hopefully I'll be at the bash on Thursday, so I'm thinking of trying a shop near the bash at some point.

Hi Pauly. Absolutely, yes, thank you. Loving it. Zero stress. Minimal IT and computer intervention. Happy customers. Best place I have ever worked.

How's that nice, big, booming Triumph, my friend? Have you managed to get out much on it recently?

A nice, safe little indoor range is the answer and will give you lots more shooting opportunities.

In the absence of a Bash Sales Thread, is anyone thinking of selling a good break barel springer? It'd be for one of the chaps at work who had a Webley Hawk back in the day. Maybe a HW99, 95, 35 or 80? Diana 280 / 34? Brummy Stingray or Xocet?

I've a 35 I should really sell, as I have a couple. Or I might just shoot it, and decide I want to keep it I know we have some nostalgia for leather, but the synth sealed 35s with the extra stroke really do shoot nice..
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

That’s great news Tone and long may it continue that way .
I’ve done around 500 miles in the few weeks I’ve had it but would have been more if the weather hadn’t been so pants.

Yep, it was the recent weather conditions that made me ask, Pauly. Hopefully, sometime very soon the Sun will get his hat on and playtime will follow.

Yes, it was Gary from Lincoln, Pete. I think it will be mainly pistols, though. A junior Webley rifle and a Gamo PCP was mentioned, too. He sort of fleetingly mentioned some others; I'll contact him and see if he has anything suitable.

    Non-launch of zeroing session!

Well, I was hoping to get that new-to-me HW97 roughly zeroed in yesterday (I usually aim to have a .177 set up so that it's shooting about 10mm low at around ten yards in the garden).

But..My favourite mounts are the Sportsmatch one piece, double screw items. My ideal scope of choice would have been the 2-7x32 Airmax. But I'd always read that it was too short to fit in a one-piece mount. So I'd gone for the Vantage version instead. AND......that's too short, too. It won't fit in the "scope saddle" by about 3mm. Bugger! That'll teach me to check in future!

Anyways, two piece double screw mounts duly ordered from JSR. Hopefully they'll land today and I can have another play. And the one-piece can go onto something else.

    Every day's a school day!
