Sorry to hear this Pete. I hope you get better very soon. Are you having any treatment / doing any exercises etc? Bloody horrible are shot backs and resulting sciatica etc.

Maybe better to go for the more comfortable hotel option?

Although a few bevvies around the fire will help ease the pain at night. But you'll pay the price in the morning.

As it happens, I’ve just got the bike out of the garage and gonna take a ride to J&S in Cheltenham to see if I can get some Summer gloves. If I mention your name, will I get a nice discount?

Might want a tad off, but due to the rain & DIY commitments it's not been out for a good session to get tested / bedded in.
That's good to hear , I haven't used one for a few years, sounds like they have addressed the problem.

Sorry to hear about your sciatica Pete & Mike, had a lot of back problems myself over the years. The daftest things can trigger it, it's ruddy horrific.

I used to be able to see an old school Chiropractor, he could sort it in a couple of minutes, I can't find anyone like that now unfortunately, so stuck with a Tens Machine & trigger point therapy.

On the Original Model 50 front I've got another diopter coming that should be fine with the standard front sight, and the Titan spring has arrived. The Titan is 34 coils VS the Oxs' 33 but is a whole one and a half inches longer, so I can lose at least three coils & still be longer than the standard spring (34 coils) and the Titan, and be less coil bound.Well that's the theory / hope lol.

It better work because the next project is already on the way, an Airsporter Mk3, well I had to find something for the 25 year old 5.56 mm Eley Wasps my wife found the other day Plus the Ox spring fits it Re-living 1980

Probably need to buy an old Tasco now....

    Nice one, Pauly!

Hope you had a nice ride and got fixed up with some gloves. If it's anything like our place, you'll have had a huge selection to choose from.

It's looking like this little taste of Summer won't be with us for long. Are you going to take full advantage and get out again today?

Ouch! Bloody horrible, isn't it, Mike? Sometimes all it takes to set mine off is an innocent slight lean / bend forward. No prior warning signs or anything. Just BANG, "here we go again" for anything between a couple of days and a few months!

Glad you're over it now and best wishes to Pete for a speedy recovery.
