    Horrid isn't it Mike
I was putting a float back in my box seat and bang
It took an hour to get my gear in my car
Let's hope it clears for you very soon, Pete. Are you taking anything for it or having any treatment / doing any exercises?

I used to be able to see an old school Chiropractor, he could sort it in a couple of minutes, I can't find anyone like that now unfortunately, so stuck with a Tens Machine & trigger point therapy.

On the Original Model 50 front I've got another diopter coming that should be fine with the standard front sight, and the Titan spring has arrived. The Titan is 34 coils VS the Oxs' 33 but is a whole one and a half inches longer, so I can lose at least three coils & still be longer than the standard spring (34 coils) and the Titan, and be less coil bound.Well that's the theory / hope lol.

It better work because the next project is already on the way, an Airsporter Mk3, well I had to find something for the 25 year old 5.56 mm Eley Wasps my wife found the other day Plus the Ox spring fits it Re-living 1980

Probably need to buy an old Tasco now....

Back in 2016 with one of my sciatica episodes......I vividly remember it was Palm Sunday (so April?). As I leant forwards when brushing my teeth....BANG! I was then off to my RFD to collect my new-to-me TX. I was struggling like mad to get to the car / drive / carry the rifle / drive back. That episode lasted for months. A few days into it, a pattern started to emerge where between about 11.00 am and 7.00pm it would clear a good bit. Then killed like mad from the evening. Late August / early September I was working at MotoGP at Silverstone on the Ducati stand. At the end of the Sunday we were busy pushing lots of bikes and loading them onto the trucks. I thought to myself, "you're going to pay for this".......next morning the pain had gone and it stayed away for a good while. How weird was that? Obviously a disc or whatever had got tweaked back by the work and sorted the issue.

Good luck with the spring transplant and project Airsporter. I have here a Japanese made BSA scope (1970s). Think it's a 4x40 and, obviously non-AO. Let me ponder if I want to let it go or not. Very nice optics and would suit the Airsporter nicely.......

Well, those mounts for the 97 didn't arrive yesterday.

But......just recently I'd been thinking that I don't think I've had the S410 out for over two years and ought to get it out and check it's held pressure okay. Got it out.....150 BAR still in there, so all good. Quick ten shots, wiped down and put it away. Next to it in this cabinet is one of my Venom tuned 80s....a Mark I I've owned since the early 80s. Tuned by Venom mid-eighties and serviced there each year until about 1990. A few shots with the thumpy yet smooth 30mm, tighter groups than the S410 (), wiped down and put away.

It sounds very similar to my back problem mate. When it goes its horrendous for a few days but once i can get moving, if i go for a few walks over the hills i can generally get the spasm to release!!!

Look at us, we've turned the bash thread into to a 'woe is me' agony aunt column!!!! Awesome!!!

No Mythos at Lidl or Home Bargains yesterday.

But Lidl did have the Carlsberg on at £8.29 for "Lidl Plus Price" for 15 X 440ml cans. Well, it would have been rude not to........

They did have two types of Polish beer. One I have seen a few times (Tyskie?) but have yet to try - must give it a go sometime and one I haven't seen before (Lech?).

They also seem to be stocking the Czech Budweiser Budvar regularly plus the Budvar Dark Lager which I've had a few times and is very different. Staropramen in there, too.

I've put my back out putting trousers on ! More than once I've had to work regardless of the pain & somehow it's sorted it, when lying down & taking it easy does nothing at all.

Thanks and ooh that sounds nice, with BSA mounts too ?

Only two weeks and I'll be loading the car up, having the bash to look forward to does mitigate a lot of the crap life throws at you.

And I still think a bit of boingery action is the best therapy!

Yep, as Mikey's also said, trying to keep moving certainly seems to help.

No mounts on the scope. Not sure what mounts you'd need for the Mark III - do Sportsmatch do "specials" for them?

And you're right.....the anticipation of, planning for and getting to a Boingery Bash does us a world of good.

It's looking like this little taste of Summer won't be with us for long. Are you going to take full advantage and get out again today?
Ended up getting a nice lightweight pair of Alpinstars and a warmer pair of leather Frank Thomas, both at a reduced price.
I’ve got other ‘jobs’ piling up on me so I’ll see how I go in the next few days but I’m sure I will get out again

Not sure what the size is tbh, I'll wait until it arrives & measure it. I've bought far too many mounts without measuring Including a one piece that's too long for the compact scopes I've got & mounts too short for the dia of another scope.

I've had two Mercuries in the past & never realised until recently that BSA have their own odd rail size.

Had a horribly hectic day today in baking heat, every time I look up there is a calendar right in front of me, and I'm thinking "two weeks today & I'll be there, away from all this".

Can always check my spares if you need me to, when trying to solve the Falcon Conumdrum I got sent several sets to try, might have to ask postage as I'm too tapped out to cover it but they were given to me free so I'll pass them on free.
