The aussie uses a bolt IIRC... if you change that for a female countersunk version (aka a nut), you are fine again. Just thread the nut onto a threaded bolt, backup up against another nut so it's tight. Then turn it against a grindstone to get the conical shape. Cut a slot in the face for a large screwdriver bit.
    Thanks Jon

    Nice one, Neil.

And, with Bad Daz and Paul (Mach 1.5) contributing, guessing and hoping that they will be making their Quigley Bottom debuts and joining us.

Only a week and I'll be packing my gear in the car Less than a week for you Mike ?

Got the model 50 back together & still oversprung & ludicrously hard to cock, so more coils off the Titan spring it is

Considering softening the airsporter leather seal with olive oil to save having to buy a bottle of neatsfoot, as I'm a Yorkshireman & that neatsfoot is at least a tenner.

I suppose with bash weekend rapidly approaching, it's time to whittle down the list of rifles that will be making their way up the A46.

    Starter list:
Impact RM100 (if only to get informed opinion as to why I have an intermittent fault with the safety)
Recently fettled Hatsan Model 60 (short stroked, tp sleeved down and re-sprung)
Recently assembly project HW35 (pre-safety, synthetic seal piston added)
XS20 (.177" or .22", or both) both fettled
    V-Mach tuned .22" HW77
BSA Imp Mod 'D' (a little something for the bell..)

    On the reserve list:

FWB 127 (remember this one Gavin?)
HW80 in.25" (though really it's a pumpkin smasher and shouldn't come out to the autumn..)

    A couple of pistols..

As per normal, happy for anyone to have a plink with anything I bring with me.

There's a very nice Simmons Whitetail 3.5-10x40 with dust covers, come into the shop today.
I know some of you seek these out.

    Asking £85.
