    Weihrauch HW75 Wow Finally

I’m no stranger to pistols as many know I’ve been around he houses for years and always had a soft spot for Weihrauch pistols.

I’ve honestly lost count with the amount of 40’s 45’s even 70’s that I’ve owned

But the HW75 has always eluded me….

Since 2008 back in my early club days I got a few chances to try club members examples and really enjoyed them and always said to myself one day…..

Well fast forward 16 years and finally that day arrived the right time, right place and all that jazz and I finally own one

For many years I just couldn’t justify one especially new as they are pricey buggers and even when I’ve seen them used I always felt they were just a tad out my price range but I just couldn’t resist it this time

A good friend decided it was time for his boxed as new example to find a new home and I jumped at the chance.

I absolutely love it and it’s gone right to the top of being my best ever pistol it’s so slick and feels just right absolutely on point and it just oozes quality.

Very happy bunny just wish I’d done this 16 years ago well as my tagline suggests I’m always late to the party

    Very well done, Nick.

Beautiful pistols. Like you, I have used them a few times and love them to bits. Wish I'd got one when they were less pricey.

    Enjoy.

And make sure you keep this, okay?

    Cheers Tone 👍🏻

As you know the word ‘keeper’ is not in my vocabulary

Hence I will refrain from even uttering that word

I live in the moment so will damn well enjoy it and I will not make any promises

I have got £50 cash on collection ready for when you get bored of it...
Too many guns, or not enough time?

    yeah, quality guns
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

I'm considering a 75 but wanted assurance that they have an MV capable of punching clean holes in NSRA target cards.
    Using R10 or similar wadcutters.

    Is this the case?

    Cheers

Sadly not but the raggedy holes do rag up the bull rather than the 6 ring.
One tried gave about the same MV as the Gamo V10 2.4 ftlbs maybe but actually outshot the Gamo. Strange as the Gamo is supposed to be the more official target class with true target grip. The better trigger I think.

Had mine a few weeks now and love it.

Use it inside on my range through the kitchen into my utility room/ gun room, got a Stiga target pellet trap and a Umarex Duck hunter target box in there.

Had to add a Vector Optics SCRD-1911 Frenzy 1x17x24 Red Dot Sight to it as can’t see the opens with my varifocal 🤓 glasses.

    Hope you enjoy it.

    Glad you're enjoying it.

But does it punch clean holes?

I know a few people who rate the HW 75 as a target pistol.
I jumped in & bought a new HW 45 but soon realised my eyes are to old to shoot pistols now!.
