    Air Arms Alfa Project Pistol

Hi, can anyone offer any advice on a low power issue on my Alfa Project?

Was shooting great on Saturday until the hammer button bar broke and the pistol lost power.

I’ve gained some power back, adjusting the tension hammer bolt, however it’s not where it was originally. Unable to chrono until tomorrow, but the power output is less than it was. The manual states that small adjustments can be made with the air transfer port screw and shows this pictorially that it’s held in place with an M3 nut, however I cannot see/locate this on my pistol?

I have ordered a new hammer assembly from a Spanish company as these are currently out of stock in the UK and have been on back order since October 2023.

Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

    Update.
Contacted Air Arms and they have advised to send the pistol to them for investigation via ParcelForce, therefore that’s what I’ll do.

    Further update.

Air Arms stated that my model did not have the M3 nut adjustment and that the owners manual was generic.

Having received a new hammer button assembly and consequently fitting it, the power issue disappeared, therefore I never needed to return the pistol to Air Arms. I assume firing the pistol without the hammer button assembly afforded too much hammer travel and this had an effect on the opening of the firing valve?

The pistol has behaved perfectly for a long period of time now, however I have now purchased a Feinwerbau P8X to my collection.

For those requiring a new genuine hammer button assembly, there’s one currently advertised on a well known auction site.

    Thank you.
