That might be the most interesting post I've seen this year!
Thanks for the information.
May be of interest, 14 pistols tested for accuracy, power and usability.
Different pistols prefer different pellets so fps/ftlbs vary, all in .177 and pistols serviced and in good working order.
Accuracy: 5 shots standing, two handed unsupported at 10yds. Scored out of 50 by standard 10m pistol target transparent overlay, centralised for the 5 shot group.
Usability obviously subjective.

I agree, most interesting and useful table, thanks to ptdunk.
Thank you Matt for keeping a record of your results. I have checked dozens of pistols over the years while completing repairs but never thought of commiting all my findings to paper. I do agree with your findings on the pre-war slant gripped MK 1 Webley as I recentlly got one F.O.C. in the very collectable Webley case I sold to a very well known member on here. The Webley looked very rough but I refinished it and was very surprised at its performance, the best of any Webley pistol I have owned. I would like to see the Tell 2, Tell 3, Haenel 100, Haenel 26 and Haenel 28 added to the list if ever possible. I have memories of testing these.
