Meet Up At Doncaster Over Winter; Musing

I mentioned this before on the Bash Thread , there is an indoor (but un heated) range at Doncaster, just off the A1 and the M18

    https://www.doncaster-airgun-range.co.uk/

Is there enough interest to book the entire place for a day or a day after 12 pm ?

Please post if you are interested, could be just an afternoon, could be all day, could be a meal afterwards & beers.

Could be late November ? or maybe next year Feb / March, or even both any ideas ?

I'd quite possibly go for that, date depending.

As always with things like this, the final date chosen will not suit everyone and, unfortunately, there'll always be someone who would have liked to attend, but can't.

One thing that I think is a MUST is for the date to be suitable for Neil and Tina, our fantastic, selfless Boinger Bash hosts. So, for once, rather than chasing about, organising, grafting etc., they can just turn up and enjoy. Just recognition for his hard work and efforts.

Do we try and book the whole place for a day?

Do we end up just picking a day in conjunction with Brian and let people individually book two slots - morning and afternoon? But then some might miss out?

I think maybe, initially, let's gauge interest and get an idea of how many people would be interested, and take it from there.

Timings. What are most people's thought? December or early in the new year?

Really keen to do this but there are too many variables at this stage so put me down as a Possible for now !

I agree with all of that Tony, however they do three slots a day, earlybird, lunchtime & late afternoon. I'm wondering if he'll do a discount for booking the lot ?

TBH I'd be up for early Dec & again maybe mid Feb when there's nothing going on.

My thoughts too, basically I’m up for it. Knowing the month would tie it down for me but I don’t have a preference.

Sounds a great idea arranging a winter event or two at Doncaster. Myself and Ronster will definitely be up for that.
I'm sure Brian would be open to sorting something out for us, as a few years ago I attended a MeWe airgun meet up there. And he looked after us nicely!

Myself and the old fella would be up for it but there are only 18 lanes at Brian's so a full day of all lanes is looking likely to be a requirement.

I'd be interested, dependant upon dates.
