    Gamo Compact frame

The item in the title is bust! Broken. Cracked and otherwise ‘ad it!

The break is on the upper parts where all the stress of cocking the piston is concentrated. The annoying thing is that it seems a relatively cheap part but nobody seems to be able to order it. A fix seems out of the question as it’s a break on both sides and it’s plastic.

Has anyone had experience with this issue?

I’ve tried Chambers and they no longer stock them. So I’m scratching my head. Am I reduced to looking for a ‘spares and repairs’ donor pistol.

If anyone’s got advice it would be really helpful.

    Thanks

Part isn’t ’click through’ and not listed in the options for sale.

Thank you very much for responding btw.

Edit: yes 14550 on their stock numbers. Thanks again for going to the trouble.

This one is going to a friend so I can make way for just such a purchase! 😀 I’m leaning towards FAS 6004 atm.
I wouldn’t lumber anyone with it in its current state unless it was spares and repairs. In that case I’d be helping said friend look for something similar.

Tbf the Gamo owes me nothing it’s about 30? Years old and I’ve had it for the last 10 or so. One of those situations when you have to do two jobs before you get to what you want.
