That looks like a better label Steve. Must admit I did not care for the alternatives as they seemed to cheapen the two lovely pistols you have cased so well.

Wow Mr. Garvin nailed it! Sent two different versions. I pretty torn between the two right now? Open to thoughts. Thanks so much for your contribution to this project Danny.

Also today the period oil tin came. It is Singer Household oil which has older metal spout and cap so comtempory with the pistol. It would have been an oil many in the US would have used at the time. All done except for label gluing.

Its over all glued up, thanks all for following the journey and Danny for the final touch. I ended up copying the US patent drawings on vellum and put them in the case to take out at a show. Shows the detail of how they work. One of my favorite last minute details was the notch in the oil can divider for the spout to create a separate area for the keys.
