Bash dates 2025

You could have asked me, I have been selling of a couple off hundred knives for a closed down RFD. Sold a few including 14 British Army knives at last Kempton Park Arms Fair.

The Bash events are the highlights of my year. Getting to catch up with all the smashing people who attend and welcoming newbies on board in this lovely, picturesque, tranquil setting whilst talking about & playing with boingers all weekend is pure, therapeutic bliss.

I actually had a play this afternoon as it was decent weather, changed the scope over as the first one I put on, I wasn't getting on with it.
I also tested a few more pellets out, the Excite Plinking pellets seemed to work efficiently and well, bit more testing required though.

Nice one, Terry. What sort of range have you managed to test at so far? Mine is happy with all four types of pellets tested so far (RWS Hobby, H&N FTT and JSB Jumbo Express and RS). The RS is edging it so far.

I’m resting mine right now after putting a shed load of different pellet brands through it. However out of the lot, FTT 5.53 came out best for accuracy and grouping at 25 yards indoors.

I would make a point that I felt it took at least over 500 shots before the gun settled down and began to produce its best results !

I haven't counted how many shots I've put through mine, John. But, as you'd expect and you rightly point out, our beloved piston powered rifles certainly benefit from a running in period. I'd guess that mine has probably had about 400-500 pellets through it and is certainly feeling much nicer and smoother now.
