Had my brother over from Ireland for a week. I’m going back with him for a week in the morning as I haven’t been over in more than five years now. Going by car/ferry so just hope the crossing is calm as it can be quite a rough crossing on The Irish Sea this time of year.

I hope the crossing is nice and pleasant and that you have a fantastic time over there. Will you be partaking in a drop of the black stuff over there (I've heard it's SO much nicer) or sticking with those shorter, stronger drinks?

Had a very smooth and trouble free trip over thanks Tone.
Had a few pints of Guinness last night and yes …. 100% it is much nicer over here. I only ever drink Guinness in pubs, brandy is for home and The Bash

All good thanks Tone. Bit worse for wear after too much of the black stuff last night. Time is flying, been here six days now and head back home early Wednesday morning. Not seen a drop of rain here which is pretty rare for Ireland.

Excellent stuff, Pauly. Yep, doesn't time fly when you're having such a good time? Guessing you got a return ticket and have to come back? At least with you now being a man of leisure you could make multiple return visits.

Great that you've been partaking in plenty of the Black Stuff.....it'd be rude not to!

And, yeah, most of the UK has seemingly been enjoying decent-ish weather. Even more surprising for over there. Has this given you the opportunity of getting around a fair bit and visiting old haunts etc?
