How are they mass produced?
This came up in my YouTube feed.
Not sure how much it costs, but looks like fun. Would be a bit of a bummer to pay for this - and then find out your rifle doesn't like them.
How are they mass produced?
The more I think I know, the more I realise the less I know.
looks decent. Way better and less faff than melting lead...
I guess it'd help to weight the lead wire sections too, although it looks like the excess should just get shaved off and scraped away.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
I was thinking pellet production. It seems to be successive extrusions resulting in a ribbon with lead balls that are forced through dies to make the finished pellets.
the ribbon must be to feed the lead along until the ball is finally punched out and into the dies.
It's interesting that they smelt their own lead with antimony and use a lubricant in the manufacturing process which we see on the pellets we buy.
I like their quality control measures.
The more I think I know, the more I realise the less I know.
I wonder how much these molds are.
Can't seem to find the info in the description.
Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.

I looked at these two or three years ago. See the scores of comments after, asking “How can I get one of these?” And no replies despite the years in between, and no user positing anything about them.
I tried making one myself, but soon realise that you need to be able to machine 10x cavities exactly the same. Else you are making one at a time. I gave up trying. At best, I would have been making plinking pellets, and you can get those dirt cheap, even in these inflationary times.
