    I'd love a FWB65 or 80.

And I really should have bought the Original / Diana 5 from Nick, Tinbum, at the May Bash but funds precluded purchase at the time. Have you still got it, Nick?

Though another shop has the HW75, but that’s a horrible drive away.
There was a man in there the last time I was there picking up the new 95 and he was fitting a red dot sight to what I think was the long forgotten Carreer 707 gun. Never seen one before and would like to never see one again.

Would you not fancy the break barrel HW70 if they could get you one, Chiefy? You wouldn't have to go for the 'scoped up Black Arrow version as per the video as, according to the HW website, they still make the standard version with the (excellent) open sights.

The 70 reminds me, in so many ways, of the HW30 that we all love.....Very accurate, traditional looking, very mild recoil characteristics making that accuracy easily accessible, superb trigger....it even has the ball detent like a 30! Despite its more modest output, it wasn't half whacking the bean cans on the Tin Can Alley target at the last Bash. And tight groups are much easier to achieve with this than the 45.

    I'd love another.

If you want an SSP, look at the older FAS604 (not the new 6004), or, as others have said, the HW40/P17. Or Gamo P45 and Compact.

If you want a recoilless spring target pistol, try a Diana 6 or 10, or an FWB 65/80.

If you want a very rewarding (when you get it right) challenge, I recommend a BSA Scorpion.
A Chiappa FAS 604 would be most welcome as would a FWB 65/80 !
Problem is locating them nowadays !

They do look nice, thought reminds me of an horrible thing my brother had.

I can call them and ask, as they did get me the HW80 from Ralph in Germany when I was building my custom 80, it didn’t need to be Hull etc as it was being altered by Mr Pope and Mr Cane, and any waranty from the oem gun and stock voids the warranty.

There is one for sale in Uk at £250

Had a look on you tube for them and was a bit put off with some of the videos.

One man in the States refurbs one and sorts the trigger on it over 3 videos, then laterly received one from a subscribed to check over and then stated his one was moved on as it was a piece of rubbish.

Good videos he has an one of those folks you can watch as his voice and approach are not irritating.

Anyway ordered a HW75 from the place I worked for 3 months and the guy on the sales team remembered me from 6 years ago, he said he’d call when it was in the warehouse, I asked to remember my former staff discount and at that, I heard he had hung up.

Bit sore with Bathgate after I traded in my FWB 300s and they’ve added £300 on top of what they gave me and got it up for sale.

I had a lovely 604 but I was constantly looking for signs of metal fatigue in the top strap.
It drove me half mad and I sold it!

    I’d still prefer a Diana 5/5G to a 70….

or an original 10. Just sold mine, really nice guns.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Yep, I've seen some of the Walnut and Steel videos, Chiefy.

Congratulations on coming to a decision. The 75s are lovely. Enjoy.

Owned a nice Silver Star once but it deiselled and sort of leaked oil which put me off it.
Occasionally I've mused on the Bronze Star but memories of the SS put me off.

Wouldn't mind a Chip. Fas 604 but it'll never happen.
Looked at a FWB 65 on the Bushwear Perth shop website.
