    Christmas shopping list

I am currently not drinking until Christmas . It is a part of my annual routine.
To counter the boredom of sobriety on a Saturday night, I usually manage to find a project or 2 to keep me going. Looking around I have some bits that could do with putting together in an effort to clear the table a bit, and possibly to give give to someone as an introduction to airguns and plinking.
If anyone has any of the following cheap (Or free!) , please give me a shout by pm.

    (1) Webley Junior pistol------I'm in need of a sear and a barrel catch (Sear is the priority)

    (2) A Bsa Meteor stock (and trigger guard I think) ----------long slot version, MK2 --MK4 . (NOW SORTED)

    (3) A Bsa Cadet or Major stock. (Now sorted for a Cadet stock--but still after a Major one)

    (4) A 1978 Debbie Harry

I keep asking the man in the red suit and white beard for No.4 on your list but he doesn't deliver.

I reckon Debbie Harry would be the most fun to work on, but probably the most expensive to get hold off.

I was going to try and reshape the worn sear on the Junior, but dropped the sear into a bin and couldn't find it even with a magnet so definitely need one now.

What kind of bin did you drop it into….an Industrial Sulu Bin full of previously discarded scrap Sears? 😬 I could understand that that would create a bit of a challenge if that’s the case 😉👍

A normal sized plastic sort of Kitchen bin. I even used rare earth magnets and found every pin, nail, and bits of filings in the universe-----but no sear. The big bin has been emptied since then if you want to go down to the tip and look for it?

I wish you well in ‘Bin Quest’ but unfortunately I won’t be joining you. I still have terrible flash backs to the frantic 2 day search for my missing Vespa keys. Eventually it turned out that I had put them in the recycling bin (a higher force at work suggesting I should have bought a Lambretta instead perhaps &#129300 or the time my missus lost her purse…cards cancelled etc….found it eventually in the fridge is the cheese basket 😣
There was a very spooky one too at work once but that was impossible and no one would believe me…. but I’m gona suggest it never went in the bin you only think it did 🤷♂️

Yes, it is getting nearly time for Santa to empty his bulging sack, I hope he has all 4 items for you.
