The New Feinwerkbau Sporter - Numbers?

I understand this was discontinued fairly soon after it was released. I think I intended to get one from Germany although they were rather expensive and then the Brexit thing happened and personal circumstances got in the way. I understand it is a American market gun running 15 fpe or so, and therefore needs short-stroking or even sleeving down.

Not in the market for one at the moment, but does anyone know how many of these were sold in the UK, if any?

I think there were full power ones that you mention, there were also 6ft/lb models aimed at the German Market. Mine is one of the latter, I sent it off to get it brought up to UK limits and it shoots nicely at about 11.3ft/lb.
There is a thread on here somewhere where the folk placed their serial numbers.
I think their values are quite strong now.
I've just found the thread, its; New Feinwerkbau Sport serial numbers

I guess there must be a few in the German market. I was a bit put off by the permanent 'ears' on the rearsight and also have an aversion to the modern curse of ambidextrous stocks. Maybe I'll seek one out one day.

I've just edited my last post to include the thread title.
When you see them in the flesh they look nicer than the pictures that were put out at the time.

no need for a radical tune, just lighten the piston and tickle the port. I sold mine, but kept the 124.

not many in the UK (or amywhere) is the short answer. from this, prob just a few hundred: https://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread...serial-numbers
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

But the port tickling and piston lightening isn't something everyone can do on the kitchen table with a basic tool kit.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

Yes, unless it was a cheapie that was getting experimented on I would not go near either of those things. Going after a rare and expensive springer like a FWB Sporter would not be something I would attempt even with a lathe and so on.
