Tau 7 Match. FOR SALE £495.00

I have a TAU 7 MATCH that may interest you as I am now offering it for sale.

It is a genuine MATCH version of the TAU 7 that came in a fitted alloy case.

The pistol had a factory "selected" barrel and an adjustable laminated anatomic right hand grip and is quite a rare match pistol and a really nice light target trigger.

I bought this pistol brand new when they first came out - mainly due to its stunning looks when I first saw it on the front cover of a gun magazine at the time it was launched.

The pistol has not been used much from new, but when it does get an occasional outing it is a pleasure to shoot and is as accurate as any PCP match pistol that I have owned (I have owned most of them!).

From new, every CO2 capsule that has been shot in it has had a small blob of Crossman red Pellgun oil put on the tip before it was punctured to ensure a good vaporised mist was atomised through the gun to protect it and keep it lubricated.

When my club mate owned it for a while, he also maintained the same discipline using Pellgun oil, so this pistol, has always been treated well and maintained correctly.

The pistol and case are both in excellent condition and come with all the original balance weights etc as well as extra capsule puncture caps and seals.

This is a very rare and collectable CO2 Match air pistol. The regular TAU 7 air pistols shoot very well, but this very limited edition MATCH is even better and is a pleasure to shoot.

I am offering this pistol for sale at the same price that I sold it for last time (and bought it back!). £495.00.

If you didn't want or need a full "match pistol" like this one, I would recommend trying to find a basic TAU 7 air pistol as they can be bought for a lower price, they share the same basic mechanism, and they shoot very nicely.

Here is a link to a previous thread when I sold this pistol to a fellow club member.........fortunately I was able to buy it back again when he bought a PCP match pistol from me, so apart from this brief period of time, this pistol has been with me from new.

I have still not got around to advertising this TAU 7 Match - every time I take it to the range it makes me smile as it bangs in nice tight groupings that are every bit as good as any of our 10 meter PCP match pistols .....and it has a trigger to match them too!

I'm interested in the pistol. I live in the Lake district and could meet you half way.

How large is the grip as my hands are 100 cm wide.

Thanks for your interest - I have replied to you with a PM.

As a matter of interest the width of my hand across the knuckle area is 100mm approx and the grip fits me perfectly.

The grip fits those of us that would normally choose a Medium or Large size anatomic grip, and the adjustable palm shelf helps to give a nice individual fit.
