As there is only one seal, I would check that the seal has not been nicked passing by the screw holes. Also check the oring groove for debris.
Hi all, I had a leaky Rapier so I bought a seal kit from TW Chambers and carried out the repairs.
I thought I’d solved the leak but over about 3-4 days all the air leaked out again.
So I bought some leak detector spray and found it was coming from the screws that hold the inlet valve in place.
Since there is only one seal between these screws and the last seal I decided to replace it with a slightly thicker seal but this was to no avail! There doesn’t appear to be any damage to the seal or chamber so I’m totally at a loss of what to do next and any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan

Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.
Make sure you bob a tiny bit of silicone grease on the oring to avoid snagging and nicking it when rebuilding. Just enough to make it look wet.
yes there a begger if you nick it
you only get one life live it to the best of your ability
did you change the valve seat oring ? iv'e known that seal to be overlooked ?
Thanks all,
I did use silicone grease when replacing the seal and also put a new valve seat and O-ring on it.
Looks like I’ll have to try it again 🤦🏻♂️
