I've had a quick flick through it, didn't see any close ups of the breech bolt or things like that.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

Not yet, I'm hoping its not just an upscaled Gamo version, as that has serious flaws.

Having read the thread on the other site, I think I'd give it a miss. Shame though, it does look nice, especially in .22 with the shorter barrel.

not to sure if this will work , or if im breaking forum rules etc mods please delete if any problem.
Extremely large transfer port, seems to be threaded?
We need to see the hole for the pivot bolt to determine if it is just an upscaled Gamo version or actually pulls the forks together.

Factory threaded transfer port means it is set up for experimentation and tinkering

More pics on "the other forum" reveals even more Gamo resemblance.

By all accounts they appear to be selling well, if that's true by next week all the 100 Walnut jobs will have gone !
However, if it does turn out to be the case I'm sure BSA with be on the blower to Minelli quicksticks !

I bit the bullet and picked a walnut version in .22 up today.
I haven't had time to give it a thorough run out but first impressions are positive, build quality is solid and its nice to the shoulder.
The walnut stock is worthy of a gun twice the price and once its been given a coat of oil it'll be even nicer.
Only moot point for me personally is the trigger which has a painfully long first stage with no way of adjustment to shorten it.
Can't really comment to much on the shot cycle as i only fired a few pellets to get the scope somewhere close to center and it was snappy without being too harsh but i expect it to bed in nicely once ive had tin of pellets through it.

As the gun seems to be an upgraded Gamo mechanism- is it wrong to assume that they are made from Gamo made parts, assembled in Birmingham?

Watched that yesterday evening. About five shots through the same hole....but then those flyers. Not being there and not knowing how good a springer shooter the lad is, or whether the pellets were the best for the rifle, it's hard to get anything resembling a definitive answer from that. If those flyers were down to the shooter or pellets, it's looking promising. But if they are down to the rifle itself, the overall group size including those flyers is pretty poor and wouldn't sell the idea to me. Early days for sure.

Does that mean it's 25mm internals? I have to say that the Brocock Independent was a pretty good rifle considering its mish mash of parts.
