I guess from the available current springers on the market when it comes to the trigger we obviously have the Rekord/CD top of the tree and T06 Diana and Quattro Hatsan as being very decent but from what I’ve gathered so far the CLX trigger isn’t anywhere near those x4 mentioned which is a real shame as that will make or break it for me mores the pity.

Even the many gorgeous old theoben rammers I’ve had, I simply couldn’t get on with the trigger unit and they really should have had a far better trigger from factory.
Oh blimey, we both think alike, I'm a bit of a trigger snob now, I really like the trigger's on the Superstar, Goldstar and Supersport Custom, although it's not a proper two stager, it has a positive stop and a clean break and that's all I need, I'm lucky enough to own a Theoben Sirocco that has a superb trigger and when I had my Diana 34SM tuned I fitted a T06 trigger unit to it, that's much improved now.

I'm guessing that'll be the one I managed to watch yesterday evening, with Dave Barham? Very complimentary and gushing in praise. But most have seemed to skim over any meaningful technical details so far.

    Well, you never know.....

But, having said that, I don't dislike many Gamos. And at least there's a good chance that there's no Chinese content.

I agree Tone, I think we are both smitten with the Brocock Independent, if Gamo's had a better trigger, then they would be far more popular over here as they've always been priced pretty good, it's just a shame that the Gamo trigger is at the other end of the comparison chart, with the Rekord at the top end, but saying that the Gamo trigger on my Independent is pretty good and the one on yours is even better.
