Pistols clearly don't count because they are easy to hide from the wife

My little collection has reached the point of needing a second cabinet

    I have honestly lost count.

Annoyingly, I also appear to have slightly more pairs of shoes than Mrs Geezer, so can’t deploy that argument with her.

On the other hand, she does have a lot of handbags…..

I had far too many, every different use / task had a seperate gun. At first I had one air rifle that done everything, then when I got my sgc I started. 11 shotguns later I got my fac, dumped most of the shotguns to fund new fac rifles. A few years I started on air rifles ready for my retirement, ended up with over 30 all with a seperate use. After many years of failed plan A/ I'm now decluttering & going back to minimal multi tasking guns. I keep telling myself it's painless & I can do it. I'm trying I'm really trying hard. My pellet collection is safe for now though.

Too many really but I'd say I have enjoyed shooting each and every one for different reasons. Got a couple now that need minor repairs or seals replacing. Of course as with all shooters who's better half's comment on a new gun it's ' I've had that ages ! Surprised you havnt seen it before'

And "people are always sending me guns to repair"
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

I got another one today, but as it is a pistol it doesn’t count!

It's like needing a lot of different golf sticks to play a frame of golf, innit? They all have their place on the golf pitch...

Oh and HW77's don't count either.

I’m about at my limit, problem is I have a “few” spare scopes so therefore I need more rifles, right?

    I agree with this.
But I also apply the same theory to tins of pellets...

    This is true.

The best, most "naturally" I ever shot was when I had just the one gun. I had more spare time then, shot it most days and even when not shooting it I was constantly handling it.

My understanding is greater now. I'm probably better from a bench and sitting positions. And my gun and pellet combinations are more accurate.
